FRAN O’MALLEY began his legal career with Worsek & Vihon LLP in 1991, and is currently managing partner. Mr. O’Malley has successfully argued before the Illinois Appellate and Supreme Courts. Because of his expertise and respect in the industry, journalists have called upon him for input in developing news articles relating to property taxation, which have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune and other consumer newspapers. In addition, Mr. O’Malley has written articles for several professional associations, including the Institute for Professionals in Taxation and the Illinois State Bar Association’s Section on Real Estate Law. Finally, association presidents, property managers and professional organizations have requested him to speak at meetings, seminars, and lecture series on the topic of property taxation.

Mr. O’Malley’s experience includes active membership in a variety of professional associations, including: American, Illinois, and Chicago Bar Associations; Institute for Professionals in Taxation; International Council of Shopping Centers; Association of Condominium, Townhouse and Homeowners Associations; and Community Associations Institute. He is also a licensed real estate broker.

Mr. O’Malley is currently a member of the Board of Regents at Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, a mentor with LINK Unlimited Scholars, and previously served on the Board of Governance for Notre Dame College Prep in Niles, Illinois. Mr. O’Malley graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.B.A. and earned his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law. He was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1990.
