Mark Volpe
MARK VOLPE joined Worsek & Vihon in 2017. Prior to joining the firm, Mark spent four years working at the Cook County Board of Review. While with the Board of Review, Mr. Volpe worked as a commercial and industrial tax appeal analyst, presiding over hundreds of hearings on complex commercial and industrial cases, and issuing valuation decisions for thousands more. Mr. Volpe also traveled to dozens of communities within Cook County conducting outreach seminars where he would explain the tax system to homeowners and small business owners looking to appeal their taxes.
Mr. Volpe’s intimate knowledge of the tax system allows him to zealously represent clients with unique and challenging real estate tax issues. While attending law school, he worked full time as a consultant for several law firms in Cook County, helping taxpayers save millions of dollars by filing appeals on their properties. Mr. Volpe earned his J.D. from DePaul University in May of 2017, and received his B.A. from the University of Iowa in 2007. He was admitted to the Illinois bar in 2017.
